Suggest Treatment For Numbness In The Hands And Feet

My son is 24 years old. Last June he started feeling like his legs were like weights, then he complained about numbness of his hands and feet and his face. He was have severe heads. Then after time he started having muscle spasims...I have had him to several doctors including Neorologist with MRI, CAT scan and such...nothing..all kinds of blood tests...nothing. When I say muscle spasms...his stomache muscle does it and you can see it when it happens.. Could this be a metal posioning? YYYY@YYYY

Hi,

First of all no need to worry for major illness as his all reports are normal. Sometimes undiagnosed stress and anxiety can also cause similar symptoms. So better to consult psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions.

Try to identify stressor in his life and start working on its solution. He may need anxiolytic drugs (Propranolol and Flunarizine combination) too. Don't worry, he will be alright with all these.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
