Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
As per your complain and presentation of symptoms the pain and difficulty in opening the mouth seems to be due to injury to the muscles by the pricking needle and irritation with the anaesthesia medicine leading to inflammation of the muscles causing tightness and pain in muscles and causing difficulty in mouth opening..
The
numbness on lips, chin and gums is due to
nerve injury secondary to injection..
Nothing to worry, you can take a combination of a painkiller and
muscle relaxant for relaxing the muscles so that the mouth opening can get back to normal..
Massage the side of cheek with your fingers in round gentle motion..
Do warm compresses..
For numbness you should take a
multivitamin tablet daily and do warm compresses..
If the numbness starts resolving in a month its fine otherwise consult a Neurophysician and get evaluated..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
