Suggest Treatment For Numbness In Hands

hello, i was suffering from migrain , i met a DR in india and he gave me , betacap TR 40 and topirol 25. my hand and feets feels like there is a saying when we say my hands are slept or it is like heavy and dont know how to say it in english . but you might know my intention. please help me is this a serious problem .

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have numbness in hands . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like peripheral neuropathy , generalized anxiety disorder , panic attack , transient ischemic attack , diabetes, type 2 , cervical sondylosis and vitamin B12 deficiency . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist to rule out serious condition like stroke . Doctor may order blood tests , CT scan , MRI , carotid ultrasound and echocardiogram . Doctor may also refer you to endocrinologist to rule out diabetic condition . For now take proper rest , do meditation , do not go anywhere alone and drink green tea thrice a day . Doctor may also prescribe vitamin supplement like vitamin B 12 .
