Hi! Welcome to Healthcaremagic.
I read your query. Firstly, you need to understand that bed wetting is a habit a child grows out of, with age. In some case it can be due to stress or terror or bad dreams. So try and talk it out. Do not ever embarass or scold him for this rather praise him for keeping things dry at times.
Train him about urinary habits like going for urination just before bed. Reduce his liquid intake and avoid any caffiene or beverage intake 3 hours prior to going bed. Also, indulge him into more of physical activities like outdoor games. This helps in increased concentration level and will also help in decreasing extra weight.
Try to make a habit of waking him for toilet before you go to bed, if he goes to bed earlier then you. This will enhance his attention to it.
If the problem continues, please consult physician. Desmopressin drug usually helps but require proper check up first.
Hope this answer helps you. Thank you!
