Hello. Thanks for asking from HCM.
I can understand your concern. Bad cramps occur due to
blood clots, inflammation and uterine contractions. These cramps give rise to visceral pain which can cause nausea,
vomiting, headache, sweating in palms and soles, palpitations, generalised weakness, visual blurring. All these symptoms usually subside after relief in pain. If any symptom persists, it needs further evaluation.
Now coming to your symptom of prolonged period, you should consult gynaecologist. She/he might advise you some hormonal tests, change your drugs, do
ultrasound for evaluation of uterus and presence of clots.
For relief in pain, nausea, you can take
: Painkiller like
Diclofenac sodium after proper prescription.
: Spasmodic pain can be managed by taking
Dicyclomine tablet after proper prescription.
: For nausea, you can take combination of Pantoprazole-Domeridone after prescription.
Hope it will help you. Take care. Thanks.
