Suggest Treatment For Mycobacterial Infection

I have had a myco bacterial infection in second segment of my right index finger for 4 weeks. Have been to 4 doctors including orthopedic hand specialist yesterday. Am presently on Doxycycline 100 mg for past 7 days and am scheduled for an MRI of finger Sunday 6/18 and return to hand specialist on 6/22. Are warm EPSOM salt soaks contraindicated wiwth potential to spread infection? And it indicated to have MRI before surgery?Previous ER physician on 6/01/17 cut finger open at middle segment to check for foreign object or pus infection but found nothing. So he packed wound and when packing came out in 2 days the wound quickly healed nicely.
