General & Family Physician, Dr. Piyush K's Response
Welcome to HCM. I Understand your concern. As i understand from your your history, menopause results in hormonal changes in body which also affects the sodium and potassium balance in body leading to decreased ability of body to retain salts. I would advice patients coming to me with these complains with adequate saltwater (ORS solution hydration). Adequate rest and some muscle relaxant medications for 5 days(Tab.Myoril). If still condition does not improve then further blood tests(like serum Calcium levels,Blood sugar random) would be required. Hope i answered your queries. thanks and regards
