Suggest Treatment For Mucoperiosteal Thickening

My daughter has Mucoperiosteal sinus disease according to a CT scan, she is a mouth breather and always has been she now at 28 feels she has developed Long Face syndrome, she is worried about the long term affects of this , I feel responsible for this as I was told as a child she could not have braces on her teeth as she was a mouth breather, after researching I seem to think if I had insisted on braces she would have had her palate widened and this would have sorted out the breathing allowing her tongue to sit correctly . She now has developed a cathedral shaped palate.
