Hello,

I can understand your concern. Stomach and gas troubles are commonly associated with mouth ulcers and the ulcers get relieved when the stomach problems relieve.

You can use Digene syrup (Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose + Aluminium Hydroxide + Magnesium Hydroxide) 10 ml (2 tablespoonfuls) after meals and before bedtime. This will aid in better digestion and less gas and stomach upset problems. You can avoid eating too late at night and have gap of 2 hours before dinner and bedtime. You can also use laxatives before sleep for improved bowel movements.

In addition, you can apply Benzocaine Gel (Mucopain) over the mouth ulcers 3-4 times a day specially before meals to avoid burning and pain of eating. These ulcers usually take a week to heal.

You may need to consult a gynecologist for physical examination and investigations regarding the absent/delayed periods in absence of pregnancy. Also, if the stomach problems do not resolve in a week, you should visit a physician for further investigations regarding the problem.

I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HCM. Let me know if you have further questions.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
