Suggest Treatment For Mono And Strep Throat

my 15 year old daughter is being treated for mono and strep throat. she is 2 weeks into the mono and was subscribed 3days worth of prednisone 20mg and zithromax (for strep) her nose is very congested but she cant blow anything out and she has alot of mucus in her throat. can i give her a decongestant with the prednisone to help her breathe a bit more?

Yes, definitely she needs a nasal decongestant to get relief. Also give her steam inhalation with a vicks warm mist vaporizer with vicks pads in it to soothe her breathing and to give her a peaceful sleep. Rest of the treatment is good to go.
