Suggest Treatment For Mild Pain In The Shoulder Despite Doing Physical Therapy
I had an x-ray done to make sure I did not have a tear in my rotator cuff. I do not have a tear. I did therapy for the pain with movement in my shoulder. I could not move my arm up to even put dishes away without pain. I could not reach up the steering wheel & reach for the car radio with my left arm. Therapy helped but I hear cracking in my shoulder with certain movements. I do have better motion now but still some pain with movements and the pain will go down the front of my arm only as far as the elbow. Not sure if I need to see orthaepedic doctor now. Seems theraphy helped movement & less pain now but still not all pain gone & the cracking is more often now that I can use my arm & shoulder more.
You can add analgesics like tramadol for symptomatic relief. If pain persists better to consult an orthopaedician and get evaluated. You can go for an MRI scan also.
