Suggest Treatment For Mild Pain Below Rib Cage

Have pain mild when not active below rib cage 4 to 6 inches from sternum that seems to radiate straight back to back - increases while on walk after approximately 20 min. It becomes sharper - subsides back to mild after exercise. Had this issue on and off for several years- may last for months or may not be there for months
