Suggest Treatment For Mild Laryngitis With Nausea And Vomiting

I had mild laryngitis for 10 days, a cough, no fever. I took a flu shot. I developed diarrhea, aches and pains, nausea but no vomiting. i took a strep and flu test. both were negative. I was given a z-pac. The next day the aches and pains were gone. About 5 days later I developed chills for a couple of days along with the other symptoms. The chills are gone today but other symptoms continue

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since the other symptoms are gone & you are only having chills, you should go for a follow-up treatment. Get re-examined, you may need a course of antibiotics. Gargle with Listerine water (medicated mouth wash) 2-3 times a day. Do not neglect, else re-recurrence may occur resulting in worsening of symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
