Suggest Treatment For Mild Hepatomegaly And Fatty Liver In An Obese Lady

Dear Doctor,sir,am askng this for my mother.she is 49yrs old having 115kg wt.she is not diagnosed with mild hepatomegali and moderate fatty liver grde 2 with 15.4 cm size or b/l minimal pleural effusion.she has not alcohol addiction women. sir my question is what is the next step /precaution to be taken and please answer ....what is treatements and dieat . Please reply with thanks.

Non alcoholic fatty liver is one of the most common causes of liver disease at present.

Treatment involves a change in diet and increase in activity level.

In terms of diet, it has been found that the use of a increase amounts of carbohydrates is associated with fatty liver. Treatment would involve an increase in fruits and vegetables, elimination of sodas/fruit juices, decrease in rice/pasta/bread/biscuits.
