Suggest Treatment For Mild Concussion

I got my head really hard On Sunday and had symptoms of a concussion. Went to the ER on Monday and the doctor said that I have a mild concussion. Now on Wednesday I am having a tight feeling in my jaw which causes a little pain in both my ears. And I am also having pressure behind my eyes and above my eyebrows. Also still have a little headache. Oh and I am constantly sneezing too.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

If you have a headache, acetaminophen (Tylenol, others) may ease the pain. Avoid taking other pain relievers such as aspirin or ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin IB, others) if you suspect you've had a concussion.

These may increase the risk of bleeding.
Bed rest and fluids may be prescribed. Ice may be applied to bumps to relieve pain and decrease swelling.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. AJEET SINGH
