Suggest Treatment For Lumps On The Thoracic Region Of The Spine

Hello, Dr. Rynne. I am a 53 year old female who has just discovered a lump in the thoracic region of my spine, to the left side. It does not hurt, nor does it move when I touch it. When I touch it, it feels like extra flesh because it s not terrible hard to the touch, but it s definitely a lump. I just discovered it yesterday. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Lisa Simmons

Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern.
mobile lump in spine has two diffentials.
1. lipoma
2. sebaceous cyst
I would like to advise you if the lump is becoming tender, increase in size or becoming hard and fixed to underlying structures then contact surgeon.
However for cosmetic purpose you can contact surgeon and then histopathology will settle the dilemma.
hope it helps best.
