Suggest Treatment For Lump On Side Of Neck And Pain In Shoulder

Hi I have a lump on the lift side of my neck and pain in my shoulder and armpit, I m sure its muscular as I do alot of mix martial arts but worried about lump in neck had it for sometime now feels like nerves because of the pain, through the day seems to ease up a little what could this be

hi,greetings from HCM.Since you do a lot of exercise you may be suffering from torticollis of your sternocleidomastoid muscle which develops due to tear or sprain of muscle with resultant swelling.It is painful and pain will radiate to shoulder and armpit.Hot fomentation and analgesic will relieve the pain.Another possibiilty is it could be a swollen lymph node which is producing pain .
