Suggest Treatment For Lump On Hand Cause By An Injury

My wife slipped and fell today And as she fell she threw her hand against a door (the top side) and since then there is a lump under the akin that formed of blood she is keeping it elevated and had put a cold pad on it for a while When will the lump go away?

It was very correct to keep her hand elevated and press ice on it.

Further I would suggest not to move the joint or immobilise it for 2/3 days and not to rub it!

the lump would disappear by 3/7 days.
