Suggest Treatment For Lump On Elbow Causing Pain Upon Pressure
Yes my mother is 86 years old and has a lump on the outside of her left elbow that is the size of a golf ball. If you touch it the lump is semisoft and can be easily moved around. She has pain only if she hits or leans on the elbow. She went to see her doctor but was seen by the nurse practitioner who told her it was GOUT . Should she seem a second opinion? Thank you.

I really appreciate your concern, such swelling could be cystic lesion and it may need imaging study for final and perfect diagnosis it may not be gout, if it is not painful then no need to have any medicine, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
