Suggest Treatment For Lower Back Pain Along With Difficulty Laying Down On Back

hi, i fell down some outside stairs, and fell on my lower back. I have to keep my back straight, other wise it will hurt. It is very hard to lay down. It happened around 8 this morning and hasn t gotten any better and it is around 5 pm. I took a Motrin around 2, and did not help, should i go to er?

If I was your treating physician I would like to prescribe you, Ibuprofen800mg by mouth twice daily. Capsaicin cream, and, Voltaren Gel both to be applied on the back 3 times a day.

I definitely would have advised to come on follow-up after 2 weeks and see if no improvement, I would go for an MRI to look whats going on inside. May be a nerver pinch injury, a disc herniation etc, just to list some.
