Suggest Treatment For Lower Abdominal Pain And Gastritis

Hi there, I have been trying to figure out what is wrong with me for the past 24 hours. I ve been in great pain in my lower abdomen, I have had trouble passing gas and trouble having a bowel movement. the pain is stabbing and crampy all at once, and it moves from my stomach to my pelvic area and down to my anal area. If you can give me any advice or any answers on what this is, please, let me know. thank you.

Hi,

Abdominal pain can be caused by many reasons.Drugs reducing acid secretion such as proton pump inhibitors can be injected.

X-ray erect abdomen, basic blood tests containing a complete blood profile should be taken. Ct abdomen can be taken to rule out abdominal pathology.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
