Suggest Treatment For Loss Of Memory For A 32-year-old Female
My 32 year old daughter has been complaining about loss of memory and being out of sorts for no reason. She says she can t remember all sorts of different things and it is starting to concern her. A few days ago she had a fever and threw up the following day. Then a few days after that she found herself sleeping most if not all day and woke around 5:30 in the evening. She does not have the best insurance but I am trying to encourage her to seek medical help. Does this sound like symptoms that need addressed sooner than later?
I went through your details. At her age, memory problems like amnesia, dementia or Alzheimer are not possible. As she had not met with any accidents, anterograde or retrograde amnesia are also not possible. In that cases, this has to be a psychological issue. She must be obsessing with the memory issue leading to anxiety and further worsening of the condition. I suggest consultation of a psychologist / psychiatrist.
