Hi, had ct scan, have diverticulitus. Also thyroid levels high on blood test, hypothyroidism. Dr wanted to wait to see if inflammation of gut sub sides and thyroid levels return to normal before treating thyroid. My question is I have been eating, liquids, broths, applesauce, how long before I can go back to solid foods? It has been 2 weeks, my bowel movements are really loose, drinking lots of water. I try to avoid carbs and eat no processed food, chicken and turkey only. Thank you very much, from a very hungry person!
