Suggest Treatment For Lichen Planopilaris

my wife is suffering of hair loss in patches & diagnosed with lichen planopylaris. she started this problem 2 years back and its not stopping. Dermatologist is giving her HCQ tablets but no improvement. hairs are getting thiner & thiner day by day. please advise any treatment.

Hello,
Please be aware that steroids are first line treatment and HCQ is used if steroids are not working, sometimes both are used together. In this illness there is no cure and treatment may only slow hair loss. There is no treatment that will regrow hair in areas of existing hair loss
