my grand mother aged 65 yrs she has now severe leg aches she is unable to walk, she hardly walk or get up from bed v.tender from 2 months,,her cbc & urine tests all are normal...but want to know what could be the cause of these aches in leg or it is associated with age
There are many causes for leg pain in elderly patients. The most common are arthritis, osteoporosis, thrombosis or electrolyte imbalance etc. I suggest you to consult with doctor because it isn't common she can't walk. I suggest to do X-ray and Doppler ultrasound.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
