Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

There seems to be injury of disk and muscles around spine. Most likely it is a condition of disk prolapse which sometimes happens by sudden unusual activity like heavy object lifting.

From amount of pain and radiation, nerve roots are being encroached, impinged. As of now, you need to avoid even walking and lie in most comfortable posture on a firm but soft mattress in whatever position pain is least.

Take Soma tablet available OTC in combination with Advil tablet and arrange to see a spine/orthopedist for further work up like MRI.

If spasm is brought on with every movement then use a limbo-sacral brace or belt. Avoid forward bending or any work. Apply voltaren gel or any muscle relaxant gel available OTC.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Sunil Kumar Srivastava
