Suggest Treatment For Knot Formed After Injury

My husband had a heart attack 4 weeks ago and is on blood thinners he is 43 years old he bumped the front of his leg about 7 inches below the knee now there is a knot there and disclolration. Is this serious enough to be taken to the doctor or hospital?

Blood thinners have lead to hematoma formation.If its small then it will resolve in a few weeks. No harmin getting it examined by your local doctor though
