Suggest Treatment For Knee And Leg Pain While Having Osteoarthritis

I have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis. I have had gel shots in both knees over 1 and 1/2 months ago. I have pains that shoot down the side of my right leg. I am in constant pain and especially when my knee pops. I also have tingling pains all across my legs. My legs are also cold most of the time as if there is a circulation problem. It hurts to get up and walking is a problem. My doctor gave me the gel shots with no follow up. I have a sinking feeling that there is something else going on with me. Any suggestions on how I should proceed?

Hi
Osteoarthritis could be very painful if not well handled.Tingling sensation could also be due to an associated metabolic problem. If i were you treating physician, i will request for a Fasting plasma glucose and calcemia.I will add a systemic antiinflammatory pain medical like a steroid and get the impression of a Rheumatologist if the pain persists.I suggest you discuss this with your Doctor.
Best regards
