Suggest Treatment For Kidney Stones

I went to er on Sunday evening thought I had kidney stones, they took urine, and a cat scan. There were no stones but there was bacteria and my white blood cells were between 15-20. I am still waiting on results that they sent out to check urine mean while they put me on cephalexin. Does that sound like protacal?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
From history it seems that there is urinary tract infection.
Medicine cephalexin is good medicine for this type of infection.
Urine report they sent is not protacal but might be culture and sensitivity test by which we know causative organisms and antibiotic medicine working against these organisms.
Take plenty of water.
Ok and take care.
