General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

These medications should not be stopped suddenly because of the risk of withdrawal symptoms.

In terms of restarting, it would be best to speak to your doctor. If the medication is not working for you, you can ask your doctor if there is an alternative.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
