Suggest Treatment For Itchy Vaginal Area

My clitoris and vaginal area became very irritated about 1 1/2 days ago. It is extremely irritated and itches. There is no discharge. My husband and I have had more than a average amount of sex the last couple days. Is there something I should be worried about?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I understand your concerns.

The itchy and irritated vaginal area might be related to dry or hard sex you might have experienced the last couple of days.

I advise to:
- keep the area well clean
- apply Greek yogurt to subside itchiness and irritation
- avoid sexual intercourse until improvement
- go to bathroom immediately after intercourse next time

If no improvement, should consult with an OG specialist for further evaluations.

All the best!
Dr.Albana
