Suggest Treatment For Itchy Small Red Dots On The Hand

Heyaa,I am a 16 year old teenager living in NEW DELHI,INDIA.Every time when the season changes(summer-winter,winter-summer)the top layer of my skin of hand starts shedding,it generally takes about 2 to 3 weeks for the hand to become normal nd smooth again.these days this phenomenon has started nd will probably go on till the whole layers sheds out.sometimes after this has finished there r small red spots on the hand which i feel like itching very badly,this also persists for 1 week or so.i just wanted to know da fuq is this nd how can i prevent it.THANKS IN ADVANCE :-)

Hello dear,

The condition you described is normal, it's called keratolysis exfoliativa , no need to worry, just apply good quality moisturizer(moisturex cream, ranbaxy), at least 2 times a day, when this shedding starts,

and the problem of itchy lesions I can't guess because so many things to look for. Nevertheless you should take antihistamines like levocetrizine 5mg to tackle itching..
