Suggest Treatment For Itchy Rashes On The Leg And Abdomen

I have a rash on my leg and abdomen for a little over s year, very itchy but yesterday was more painful than usual and I scratched and a clear liquid was oozing out. That s the first time any oozing happened. I live in Florida and when the rash first started I figured it was these little nat bugs we have that bite and itch but I don t think that is it. Any ideas?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that you may have impetigo. This is a bacterial skin infection that can result in oozing lesions.

You would require treatment with oral antibiotics if this is the case.

Your doctor can prescribe this for you

Impetigo is contagious so you have to avoid infecting any other persons that you come into contact with.

I hope this helps
