Suggest Treatment For Itchy Moles On The Back And Dry Skin

I have several moles, mostly on my back. One of them itches sometimes. I would think it is dry skin, but only that particular area itches. Another mole is slightly pinkish. I assume this might be a new mole forming. I have had previous moles tested and biopsied, and they turned out to be benign. Should I be concerned? Thank you, Kathy Hunter YYYY@YYYY

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Every time a mole has a change or starts to give a certain symptom it is good to have it checked and then the doctor will decide if further checks are needed. In your case the fact that that mole is itching it is good to have it checked with your doctor.

The doctor will evaluate its size, color, borders and regularity and symmetry and will decide in further steps.

I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.R

Take care

Regards,
Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
