Suggest Treatment For Itchy, Dry And Swollen Skin On Labia

My inner labia are very swollen, itchy, dry, inflamed(because I put some Oreganol Oil down there). For some reason I thinking infection, but there is no discharge or odor? I had my period on September 1st, then it started again this morning? Really strange...I just started back working out a few weeks ago, I had an epidural in my neck a few weeks ago as well. Those are the only things I have done recently. I have not been sexually active in years. I have been married for over 25 years. I am wondering the worse? Cancer? It s not an yeast infection? This has never happened before?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a yeast infection.

I suggest using antifungal cream for local application.

I also suggest using a good hygiene and cotton underwear.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
