Hello,
Thank you for writing at HCM.
I read your question and I understand the distress you are having. There are several causes of itchiness and boils on the body and more information might be needed to have a better understanding of the cause of the boils but one thing that comes to my mind and would like to address is that sometimes Varicella (chicken pox) can be a cause of itchiness and vesicles which then turn in black crusts in 24 hours. In this case I would recommend an antihistamine like benadryl to help with the itchiness. It also has somme sedative effect and might help you to sleep better. Steroids (flucort cream) are not indicated in varicella.
So I would say that an antihistamine might be helpful to relieve the itchiness and in some areas you can apply cold compresses to suppress the itchiness and if the lesions are not getting better or are any worse or if you are feeling unwell generally you will need a doctor to see you.
Hope this answers to your question and is helpful to you. Feel free to write me in case of more information needed.
I find this answer helpful
