Suggest Treatment For Itching On The Penis Tip

Ihave has itching penis with stily feeling after washing and dryiing i had some worst cases where tge skin around the gland became blistery. Ithiught it is fungal because when IaIAhave aloa chronic prostatitis wich makes urine trickle out long after uninating, I am STD negative ,is it the sugar or is there a co reason ?

Hi,

First of all, there may be few causes for your symptoms:
1. Fungal cause like in candidiasis
2. Infective cause like in Trochomoniasis

If your symptoms are associated with whitish layer of membrane on your glans penis, itching and cracks on the skin of prepuce, candidiasis may be the cause. For this, a single dose of fluconazole 150mg single dose along with topical clotrimaxole cream may be helpful.

If only itching is a problem, and your sexual partner is also experiencing such symptoms, Tab. Metronidazole 400mg thrice daily for 5 days may be required. In either of the cases, your sexual partner should also receive the treatment. Avoid using soaps or oil in your penis.
