Suggest Treatment For Itching And Fissures With Clear Liquid Discharge

My bottom is itchy, mainly at night. I can t sleep and it disturbs my sleep. My consultant said I have fissures, gave me cream and they healed, but they ve come back. They itch like mad, I scratch them which causes bleeding. I ve also developed large spots around my bottom. I itch and my bottom secretes a clear, fishy smelling liquid. It s getting me down as I don t know what to do next. I ve used all sorts of creams but to no avail.

HI, thanks for using healthcare

The presence of gastrointestinal parasites or worms can sometimes be associated with night time itching of the area.

The use of medication such as zentel can be helpful in treating these if present.

Fissures are normally associated with pain and not usually itching.

Another possible cause of the itching is dermatitis, this means that the skin is inflamed or irritated by something coming into contact with it.
You may want to review all potential agents.

The use of a mild steroid cream and eliminating exposure would help if this is the case.

I hope this helps
