Suggest Treatment For Irregular Menstruation

I am unmarried women ,44 yrs of age.i was having problems with irregular periods from february onwards and when i consulted the doctor she said to take T.Crina NCR Long 10 mg for 3 days 2 times a day and asked me to do D & C.could you please tell me whether it is ok to take this medicine.I am not used to taking medicines.What is my problem

Hi i did review your concern.
Your problem can be due to perimenopause which is a transition from normal reproductive periodic bleeding to ultimately full menopause in which bleeding cycle stops. You will experience some irregular bleeding for 1-2 years and also may experience hot flushes,mood swings, dryness in vagina.
The medication prescribed by your doctor seems to be fine and it wont do you much harm. Please get an ultrasound of pelvis done to rule out any other causes of irregular bleeding like fibroids.
