Suggest Treatment For Intense Stomach Pain And Nausea

I have had stomach pain/nausea for about four days. Today the pain (left lower abdomen) has gotten quite intense. I have tried tylenol and ibuprofen and neither seems to help the pain at all. I have used a heating pad and tried a warm bath as well, without success. I am constantly nauseous (gotten sick a few times) with it worsening with movement. I am also getting quite dizzy. I am wondering what this could be.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.

We cannot accurately comment on what this could be but an abdominal and pelvic ultrasound would most certainly help in reaching a diagnosis or pointing us toward that direction. So withiht further ado, I would recommend you visit a doctor or a clinic and request for an ultrasound of your pelvic and abdomen. If you do not wish to consult a doctor there, you can also write back to me with the result and I can guide tou accordingly.

Best wishes.
