Suggest Treatment For Inflammation On The Arm After The Fracture

I had a fractured left forearm about 20 years ago. I have broke the same arm in the same spot 3 separate times. 2 times with metal plates in my arm. My question is I have some inflammation right where the break was right where the plates are. Very painful. It was gradual and now its very painful. I haven t fallen or done anything out of the usual. Its been going on for about a week now.

Hello, Welcome to HCM.
You seem to be having inflammed fractured site.
It may be because if either infection or or minor unnoticed injury.
Take ibuprofen and cold compress immediately, and see your doctor for evaluation of cause of pain.
Delaying it may cause longer, complicated and costlier treatment.
Good Luck.
