Hi,

As you don't have nausea, vomitting or motion problem at present, I feel this seems to be a muscle pull following awakward movement.

*You should take rest.Avoid painful movement or position. You can use cold pack to give some relief/Apply gently Relaxil ointment over the counter DO NOT masage or foment (unless advised by a doctor after examining you).

You can take pain medicine that suits you along with antacid Ranitidin over the counter..to offer you some relief.

Still, if unbearable I would advise you to visit ER ,before your doctor is available.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale
