Suggest Treatment For Infection On Upper Left Arm Post An Insect Bite

Hi my name is Bridgette. I am 48 years old. I was treated by an urgent care doctor about a month ago for an infected insect bite on my upper left arm. It started to get better while I was taking the antibiotics the doctor prescribed but as of last night it seems to be infected again, swollen bump that is hurting and it s hot like just the bump has a fever. I m starting to think it may not be a bug bite. I m going back to the doctor today. I found this website and was hoping you could give me some insight as to what it could be. Thank you very much! Have a good day

Hello,

It may be due to insect bite.

For that you can apply neosporin powder over it locally.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

You may require antibiotics after physician consultation.

Maintain proper hygiene

Hope I have answered your query..
