Suggest Treatment For Infection In The Mouth And Headaches
hi I have an infection in my mouth. I think it is the gum, not the tooth. It is annoying and it makes it hard to eat or drink. Very sensitive to cold or hot. Also gives me constant headache. What kind of antibiotics and anti inflammatory should I take?
As per your complain sensitivity to hot and cold along with constant headache can be seen most commonly due to either a very deep gum Infection leading to gum pocket formation while can also be due to causes like deep gum Infection..I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigation like IOPAR ( x ray) can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly.
In case of gum Infection deep scaling and Curettage followed by antibiotics like Metronidazole and painkillers like Ibuprofen can help. In case of tooth infectionRoot Canal Treatment followed by antibiotics like Augmentin and painkillers like Ibuprofen can help. It can be followed by capping of tooth.
Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Honey Arora
