Suggest Treatment For Indentation And Numbness On Thighs After A Fall

I fell hard with all my weight on the upper side of my thigh on the side of a concrete ledge. Not broken but big scratch I treat with Neosporin and bandage and ice. Ibuprofen helps with pain. But there s a big indention and the skin is numb. The pain is in my muscle and it s a little difficult to raise my leg. Should I be concerned about the numbness and indention?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Well, possibility of muscular tear and related injury is more.
Persistent numbness suggest that it is still injured and not healed.
So better to consult orthopedic doctor and get done clinical examination and x ray of local part to rule out internal injury.
You will need immobilization of that part of body with painkiller, anti inflammatory and muscle relaxant drugs.
Don't worry, with proper rest, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
