Suggest Treatment For Increase In Shortsightedness

Hi.. I have had short-sighedness since I was in 2nd standard and the power has been increasing to 7.5 in the right and close to 5 in the left eye. I am 21 now and I recently developed cylidrical power of 0.75 and 0.5.I am really scared to see the magnitude of increase in eye power. I am also not sure whether I will be eligible for a lasik surgery. Doctor can you please tell me if this power increase will stop and what can I do to stop it?

I really appreciate your concern, this is refractive error and of course you can be candidate of lasik surgery and for that better to see the ophthalmologist because after some test this can only be known, hope this information helps, take care.
