Suggest Treatment For Hyperthyroidism

Hi just wondering your view on hyperthyroidism and goitre nodules I m attending hosp just over 11 yrs and only medicated last year and a half on 5 mg carbamizole daily I had a biopsy 2yrs ago all in all have a bout 8 nodules a new growth waiting another biopsy Wud I really b better off with thyroid removed I m 45 in juy this yr

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have hyperthyroidism. You should continue your carbimazole for that. You have nodular goiter you should go for repeat fnac or biopsy. If it is multinodular giloiter or toxic goiter then surgery will help you. If you have other benign pathology then surgery will not cure your hyperthyroidism and you need to continue your drugs.
