I just had a chest xray. I am 43 yrs old and a non smoker . my chect xray came back lungs are hyperinflated , a nonspecific finding. what does this mean? I know copd and emphysema can cause this result. may I ask what other diseases or reasons that would have this finding?
See there are many pathlogic conditions causing hyper inflated lungs but an expiratory film may also cause hyper inflated lungs lgo to a pulmonologist to get evaluated
