General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Experiencing nausea and vomiting during pregnancy is common and exists during 1st trimester. Sometimes, it may continue for a little longer to 2nd trimester as well.
You can overcome this by taking following precautions.
1. Eating small meals at frequent intervals.
2. Drinking good quantities of fluid.
3. Take Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) capsules to reduce nausea and vomiting symptoms.
4. You can take enteric coated iron capsules to reduce gastric irritation.
5. Consuming liquid antacid preparations would help to control acidity.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
