Suggest Treatment For Huge Abscess On The Face

Hi- I have had a huge abscess on my face for 7 days now. I did see a Dr and was put on a strong antibiotic. I have had drainage & 2 times the a lot of pus and 2 cores have come out. The last one was yesterday about 2:00pm and it was very green and hard to get out! Now, the area has 3 spots left that feels like there are 3 more at least, under the skin, Hard as a rock!! Nothing comes out of them! Still very painful and I m starting to worry! I use hot water compresses and keep the area clean and still no change! What do I do next? Are the hard areas possibly more abscess?? The one is right on my jaw bone.. Very painful! Help please!

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello, the differential diagnosis of the lesion includes epidermal inclusion cyst, odontogenic cyst, odontogenic tumour; with evidence of secondary infection.
I would adv you to consult a dentist for OPG, and to rule out dental origin.
The treatment comprises excision (the excised tissue should be sent for biopsy) after infection is subsided completely.
Thanks
Take care
